We'd like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who helped put on the South Central Conference Basketball Tournament this past week! We really enjoyed hosting it this year and hope that all participating teams and coaches enjoyed our facilities. Our RHS Media students took some time this week to make the following posts regarding the games.

Good Morning! We have reached the peak of this 2024-2025 school year! It is all downhill from here! And, the smell of summer will be here quickly! That being said...WE NEED YOUR SENIOR BABY PHOTOS & Senior Yearbook Ad Orders. Today I will be sending the attached flyer home with the seniors with more information regarding senior ads. Jostens' has created a new opportunity that if you'd like to create your student's senior ad you can! Or, you can have the yearbook class design it for you. Regarding Baby Photos...it would be best for you to email a digital copy of your photos to Coach Z.'s school email. This will ensure that no photos are lost or damaged by the yearbook department physically scanning them into our library. If you do not wish to send your photos via email then you may bring the physical photos to the school to be scanned in for use. Please include your student's name in the email with the pictures so that we can match them up with your senior. If you have any questions please email Coach Z @ zroberts@ryan.k12.ok.us

Did you know that January is National Basketball Tournament Month?? It's not...but it ought to be! Here is the Boys Bracket for the Stephens County Tournament Next Week!

Ryan Public Schools will be closed Friday, January 10th. The South Central Conference Tournament will resume on Saturday, January 11th, and Monday, January 13th, at the same times as originally scheduled.. Thank you!

Attention Ryan!!! Out of an abundance of caution we have decided to go ahead and cancel school for Thursday, January 9th. This will be a snow day.

Attention to ALL fans attending the South Central Conference Tournament!!! Please park in our new parking lot on the south side of the gym. We need ALL tournament patrons to park there until the end of the school day so that our elementary Drop Off and Pick Up Line can function normally! We greatly appreciate your cooperation! ATTENTION!!!!!! Due to the possibility of severe weather on Thursday we have collectively decided that we will begin the South Central Conference Tournament on Wednesday, January 8th. All games that were to be played on Thursday will be played tomorrow at the scheduled time on the tournament bracket. Thank you. RHS Athletics.

Coach Meade had a small meeting yesterday with those who were interested in playing baseball this spring. If your student athlete missed the meeting, but is interested in playing, please have them talk to Coach Meade ASAP. He needs their shirt size, pant size, and three (3) possible jersey numbers they'd want to wear. He is ordering new uniforms for this season over Christmas break and does not want to miss anyone! Exempt Trip Notice!! On Thursday, December 19th, we will be making a trip to the shopping center in Wichita Falls for students that are exempt from ALL semester tests. We plan on leaving around 8:15 a.m. and returning around 3:15 p.m. Please bring enough money for shopping, snacks, and lunch. Students that are exempt from their tests BUT wish to take one to help improve their grade need to make arrangements with their teacher(s). Thank you, we hope to see a bus full!

Good afternoon everyone, We'd like to share with you an UP-TO-DATE high school basketball schedule for the remaining games of this season. All AWAY games are indicated with the "@" symbol. All games that do not include this symbol in front of the team name will be played at home. We have four (4) "Double-Headers" remaining. These games include JH/HS girls and boys games. They are... Fox - 12/19/24 - JH starts @ 4:30 pm. Springer - 12/21/24 - JH starts @ 1:00 pm. Geronimo - 1/7/25 - JH starts @ 4:30 pm. Fredrick - 1/17/25 - JH starts @ 4:30 pm. How about them Cowboys?! Thank you all for such an incredible Football season. The energy we had Friday night was just awesome. Sadly Lady Luck had other plans.
