Sadly our community was faced with a tragedy this week. We are all here for any student that needs any extra support in this time of grief. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Coach Mildren has scheduled a parent/player meeting for all Jh/Hs students interested in playing baseball this spring on October 3rd at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria.

The Jh football game at Bray-Doyle scheduled for Tuesday, September 5th will now be played at Ryan. Game time is still 6:30. GO COWBOYS!!

What a way to start off the 2023 - 2024 Junior High Football season! The Ryan Cowboys took on the Grandfield Bearcats at home Monday night for an exciting game! Cowboys are 1 - 0 for the season.

Ryan Cowboy Pee - Wee Football kicks off their home opener tomorrow, August 26th, vs. the Temple Tigers. Game Starts at 10AM. Schedule and details attached with the image! Go Cowboys!

Due to water issues the softball games for tonight have been cancelled.

JH & High School Dress Code Update: Parents: we have reviewed our dress code policy and have determined a change needed to be made regarding the length of shorts. Starting on Monday, August 21st, shorts can be worn at a length of a $1 bill above the knee longways (approximately 6 inches from mid-knee to short line). Our hope is that this will provide families more flexibility when purchasing clothes for school. All we ask is that parents/guardians, please be the first set of eyes to monitor shorts' length, prior to students arriving at school. Please note: We will continue to require any jeans with holes above the knee to be fully covered from knee up. Students may wear shorts under, but shorts must come down to the knee fully if open holes are present. Thank you for your continued support of our school! We look forward to a productive year working together.

Yearbook Distribution Time! Parents / Students. The RHS Yearbook Staff will be distributing the 2022 - 2023 Yearbooks today (Friday, August 18th). 2023 Seniors who purchased a Yearbook may pick them up from the HS Office after 12 p.m. If you have any questions please email Coach Z.

WHAT A GAME! If you missed it last night then let us re-cap for you. The RHS Cowgirls took on the Thackerville Wildcats for the 2023 season home-opener. The Cowgirls got up on the Wildcats during the 1st inning with a lead of 8-1, the Wildcats slowly started chipping away at that lead coming into the bottom of the 6th tied at 8-8. Senior Jasmine Villarreal hits a solo shot home run during that inning to put the Cowgirls up 9-8, and Sophomore Kamrie Hernandez closed out the top of the 7th with a strike out on a full count to end the game! Congratulations Girls! Keep it up!

Good afternoon, Ryan! We have a great week of athletic events at home! Tonight the Cowgirls take on Thackerville with junior high fast pitch starting at 4:30 pm. Then Friday night the Cowboys are hosting Cyril, Maysville, and Grandfield for a 4-Way scrimmage! Details are posted on the photos attached.

Terral students will be picked up each day at the Terral School at 7:35am. They will be dropped off at the school each afternoon at approximately 4:00pm. Students in the country will continue to be picked up and dropped off at their residence.

Welcome Back! We hope that you all enjoyed your first day back on campus. It was great to see you all back in the halls! Here is the first round of pictures from today. We'd like to thank Ms. Miller and Coach Z. for taking time to capture some moments throughout the day.

First Day of School Eve! (For some of us!) These kiddos started at the Career Tech center in Duncan this morning. We are proud to see so many Ryan High School students taking advantage of this amazing program! We look forward to seeing you all on campus tomorrow morning!
