Happy Labor Day!!! We hope you all are enjoying your long holiday weekend! Junior High & High School Football Players & Parents!!!! We will be having J.H. football practice today from 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. for all 6th - 9th grade J.H. boys that are willing and able to make it. The J.H. squad will travel to Grandfield tomorrow, Tuesday, September 3rd, for a 3-way scrimmage with Grandfield & Mt. View. The 6th grade will NOT suit up to play tomorrow, but are more than welcome to come! The H.S. football squad will be meeting toady at 5:30 p.m. to watch film, lift, and go over a few things to begin getting ready for our next match up against Burns-Flat.

All hands on deck!!!! The FFA would like all students that are willing and able to meet at the HS cafeteria around 12 pm to help set up tables and chairs for the Alumni Weekend Celebration! Thank you!

Attention Ryan! Per the Town of Ryan we will not have enough water pressure to run our school facilities efficiently enough to serve our students tomorrow. So, there will be NO SCHOOL tomorrow, Friday, August 30th. We will be unable to get water from Waurika until sometime tomorrow afternoon. Although our campus will be closed the Technology Center bus will still run at normal time in the morning and will return around 12 pm.

Attention Ryan!!!! Due to the city having to turn off the water we will be dismissing class at 12:00 p.m. today, Thursday, August 29th. The school busses will run at 12:10 p.m. Due to the severity of the issue with the water system there is a large chance that classes will be cancelled Friday, August 30th. Welcome to Cowboy Country! We'd like to introduce you to our awesome new staff members for the 2024 - 2025 school year! If you see them around town please give them a warm welcome!

The first official day of school is Thursday, August 15th for all students who are NOT attending career-tech classes in Duncan. Those students who are attending career-tech in Duncan begin school this Thursday, August 8th. The bus leaving for Waurika will depart the high school at 7:00 a.m.

As you make your way around campus this next week for high school and junior high softball and enrollment we hope that you take notice to some amazing updates we were able to get done this summer. New Flooring installed in the Elementary Hallway and Cafeteria, as well as a brand new paint job. The football field got brand new LED game lights installed for this fall season! The softball field got an updated retaining wall and new sod installed for the upcoming year to better suit seating and parking for games. The Elementary playground got an update as well! We would like to thank all of those who have helped to get all these projects completed before you all enter the halls next week. Go Cowboys! Go Cowgirls!
